February 1, 2018,  The NIH Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research Program Team

Dear Colleagues-

The Kids First Program would like to inform you that the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PAR-16-348, “Small Research Grants for Analyses of Data for the Gabriella Miller Kids First Data Resource (R03)” recently expired, and the reissue will be posted in time for the next standard receipt cycle (Cycle II).

The purpose of this FOA is to support small research projects that involve analyses of genetic and clinical data that are part of the Kids First Data Resource Center or that could be added to the Data Resource Center. This initiative is expected to help researchers discover new genetic variants underlying structural birth defects and pediatric cancers.

We plan to make an announcement via this listserv when the reissue of PAR-16-348 has been published.

Also, we have updated the Frequently Asked Questions regarding PAR-16-348 on the Kids First program website: https://commonfund.nih.gov/kidsfirst/FAQ#RO3.

Please share this announcement with anyone you think may be interested in this opportunity.

If you have additional questions regarding PAR-16-348 contact the program manager, Valerie Cotton at [email protected].
