\u00a0Thank you!<\/p>\n<p><em>Jack&#8217;s Angels gave $1300 to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cc-tdi.kindful.com\/honor-pages-2015\/relay-for-jack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;Jack&#8217;s 12 Pebbles&#8221; <\/a>research project for DIPG at the Children&#8217;s Cancer Therapy Development Institute from the fundraising efforts of Relay for Jack!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4804 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1-1024x291.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1-1024x291.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1-300x85.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1-768x218.jpg 768w, https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1-250x71.jpg 250w, https:\/\/jacksangelsfoundation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/banner1-150x43.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Jack&#8217;s Angels is completely powered by volunteers, and our financial policy is&#8211;for our organization&#8211;Wing and Prayer. \u00a0We are a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization, and we are named for Jack&#8217;s initial supporters in the communities of Acton, Agua Dulce, and Santa Clarita.\u00a0 Some of our most notable Angels have been: \u00a0Vasquez High School, Acton CA; The Agua Dulce Royal Court, Agua Dulce, CA; ADK Sorority of Orange County; and Reginald Marsh, engraver, Patron of the Year 2013 and 2014. \u00a0There have been many private donations for which we are enormously grateful; we could not continue our work without them! \u00a0These winged hearts are gifted in our care-packages to DIPG children and their families. \u00a0It is a fairly involved sewing project, taking a few hours of time and study.<\/p>\n<h3>Upcoming events:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Skip for Jack!&#8221; continues at the Santa Colorita 5k Fun Run 2\/13\/2016!<\/strong> \u00a0The Planning Committee has begun meeting and is coming up October 13, 4-5pm at the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce on Tourney Rd. in Santa Clarita. \u00a0See Calendar for details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;RELAY FOR JACK!&#8221;<\/strong>&#8211;5-28-2016&#8211;Monster Relay Race benefiting the &#8220;Funding Creativity Project&#8221;, pediatric biological research in neuro-oncology. \u00a0We are targeting DIPG, which has had a 0% survival rate for decades and is responsible for the majority of pediatric brain tumor deaths annually, brain tumors being the #1 cancer-related cause of death in children. \u00a0It&#8217;s time to find solutions for DIPG. \u00a0Most other big non-profit fundraisers for cancer research do not benefit pediatric research.<\/p>\n<p>ART FOR JACK: \u00a0We will continue accepting donations to our &#8220;Art for Jack&#8221; art gallery. \u00a0We have been without online presence for the last 18 months, but we are looking forward to the\u00a0opportunity to start an actual gallery to support this program, and to share the amazing contributions of art with which we have been blessed the last 2 years. \u00a0To submit a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other piece of artwork to our gallery, contact us directly at jacksangels1@gmail.com, or our office phone 661-977-3125. \u00a0Thank you!
