Peter Marsh<\/strong> recently retired as director of string chamber music at the Thornton School of Music, the University of Southern California. For 23 years (1957\u201381), he played first violin for the Lenox Quartet. Still active as a performer, in 2006 he toured Korea, Alaska (the Fairbanks Festival of the Arts), Brazil (XI International Cello Encounter) and France (Franco-Am\u00e9ricaine Rencontre de Musique de la Chambre, at the Ch\u00e2teau de la Bretesche in Missillac).
\nAfter his time with the Lenox Quartet, Marsh was the first violinist for the Philadelphia, Berkshire, Sequoia, Southwest and Pacific quartets, as well as the Palo Verde and Picasso trios. He is a frequent recitalist on both the violin and viola. As concertmaster, Marsh has played with the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Opera, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Colorado Festival Orchestra and the California Chamber Symphony. He has collaborated in concert with artists such as Leon Fleisher, Stanley Drucker and Eudice Shapiro.
\nHe has had faculty appointments at Indiana University, Ithaca College and Western Washington University, as well as artist faculty positions at Aspen, Tanglewood, Ravinia, Spoleto, Fairbanks and other festivals. Additionally, Marsh has conducted the Western Washington University Symphony, has served on the music panels of NYSCA and the National Endowment for the Arts, and is a founder of Chamber Music America.<\/p>\n

\"donna\"<\/a>Donna Marsh<\/strong> has been teaching violin and viola privately for over 25 years, primarily to children. She has played in music festivals in Washington State, Alaska, and abroad in Spain and France. She currently teaches a very full group of students at the Amac Violin Center in Arcadia, CA.
\nPeter and Donna Marsh, married in 1997, have enjoyed teaching and concertizing together as a \u201cdynamic duet\u201d ever since.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Roxanne Jeppesen\u00a0<\/strong>has been the President and Executive Director of Cultivating Creative Minds\u00a0since June 2010. \u00a0Cultivating Creative Minds<\/a> is\u00a0a non-profit organization based in the Santa Clarita Valley with the mission to promote creative programs for young people, partner with schools to organize and execute enrichment programs that promote creative thinking, and to help schools find and sustain funding for creative programs. \u00a0She has been a music educator at Sulphur Springs School District since 2003, and has been teaching and working independently as a professional musician since 2001. \u00a0The Cultivating Creative Minds Youth Band features high school students from around the Santa Clarita Valley. \u00a0The group has the mission to promote the importance of creativity through music for young people. \u00a0The students get opportunities to improvise, compose, and to design and organize their own performances. \u00a0The ensemble includes drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, trumpet, alto saxophone and tenor saxophone.<\/p>\n
