As a way of providing sick children with an ongoing source of comfort and joy, and a therapeutic tool for healing, he set out to create personalized, one-of-a-kind songs for them beginning in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>The Songs of Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization which creates personalized songs for children and teens struggling with a life-threatening illness or lifetime disability, free of charge.\u00a0 Each song is professionally produced with lyrics containing the child&#8217;s name, references to his or her favorite activities, things, people, and pets, and written and performed by a variety of talented professionals in the child&#8217;s preferred musical style (pop, r&amp;b, rap, rock, alternative, etc).
